Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, & Math Camp at University of the District of Columbia

Updated: Jan 14, 2024

As the human population grows all over the world, Scientist have become concerned with how the earth's agriculture resources will be able to support us in the future. The 2022 and 2023 Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Math camp explored this concern. The camp allowed high school students to take a deep dive into discovering the agricultural issues we may be facing in the future and the best technological and data driven ways to sustain and multiply our agriculture resources that affect the agriculture eco system. The camp also explored college degree programs and job opportunities within the agriculture field. The camp was held for two weeks each year at the University of the District of Columbia's, College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability and Environmental Sciences Department.

“Our why is simple; we want to help and give back to as many youths as we can and in as many ways as we can. I wouldn't be where I am today without the help of my community, mentors, and family. My mission is to give back in the same way that so many others have given back to me."
